    9.4V battery and ROF

    My friend today was mocking me because i bought a 9.4v battery for an ics mp5, he says it will burn out the motor and ruin the piston.

    I dont believe him....


    Have i wasted £15 on a too powerful battery?

    No you havent, all it will do is increase wear on the internals.

      Never seen a 9.4v battery before, sure its not 9.6. And anyway ICS are meant to be able to take 9.6 arent they?

        I think that was a typo, you cant get 9.4v on a standard ni'mh or ni'cd battery as they are made up of 1.2v cells

          Yeees sorry, my bad. Just checked my ebay and yeah its 9.6
