  • How about this for a game site

Morning chaps and trolls! Just finished reading today's The Sun ( 29/7/2011) and came across a interesting feature on pages 42-43. They were talking about Cold War bunkers, and I thought that would be an awesome place for CQB, what do you guys ( and trolls ) think?

BattleTec in Guernsey have used a WW2 48 room bunker/gun emplacement for 11+ years, I can't think of more fun place to play CQB.
The problem however with a majority of cold war bunkers is they contain a vast amount of nasty materials many asbestos and arsenic
I remember years a go there was a combined Airsoft/Paint ball site set in a regional command bunker. This however got set fire to and the asbestos released, now not safe to use with out uneconomical treatment.

Make it so everyone has to wear those gas masks, that would be cool :P

UCAP uses an old WW2 bunker for one of its sites. It's an awesome site run very well. You get the odd crumbling bits of wall and leaky roof since it's underground but it's in no way hazardous, unless you are a complete spacker. I'd be well up for playing in other ones of a similar vein.

If they're not being used then it could be a possibility?

Such a shame the isle of Wight is full of old people, we have some awesome underground bunkers and forts etc, but not allowed to use em

I prefer to call old people moving cover.
Would be awesome to play in a bunker!
