Going from the budget .2g bbs, do .25g bbs make much of a difference?
Thanks. Also will be used in a G&G GR16 R5

If you adjust the hop right, you can get a little more range.

They're probably the best way to upgrade your accuracy so......

Re: Do .25g BB's make a difference?
I've found they increase accuracy alot and also increase range a little bit(not much though).
They decrease FPS though. a 330 fps gun will find itself doing about 305 on .25s(not a mathmatical calculation, just a guestimate).

Re: Do .25g BB's make a difference?
Yes, big time. Ammo is the single biggest factor effecting accuracy that there is. A bag of .25 ammo of a decent quality is a pretty big step in terms of accuracy, but obviously wont make muc difference if you don't actually need the upgrade, e.g for cqb or hip shooting etc.

Re: Do .25g BB's make a difference?
they mainly help for reducing wind deviation, increasing accuracy and a generally more consistant flight path easily the best "bang for buck" upgrade! although .2's will do perfectly for CQB

Re: Do .25g BB's make a difference?
No i gathered that, only using .25s in the r5, leaving .2s in the g36.

Re: Do .25g BB's make a difference?
The .25 will give a more stable flight path and a little more feel to the hit making them a good option for both Woods and CQB.
The lack of fps is less of an issue when sporting a good hop too. Running a TM on .25s (both AEG and GBB) will yeild very good ranges compared to .2s

Re: Do .25g BB's make a difference?
U wont find much of a fps drop running .25g compared to 0.2g I run a g39c on .3g bb on crono in my gun on 0.2g bbs it clocks in at 347fps on 0.3g bb it clocks in at 310fps

0.25g BB's do make a difference for all the reasons stated previously. I switched maybe two years ago and have never looked back.

Re: Do .25g BB's make a difference?
I hate it when the wind blows away my balls so yeah .25`s or even .30`s for outside mid to long range shooting for sure.
.20`s for spraying and preying

Oh when will I get a decent knights stoner LMG aeg ?
