I run .25's in my tm m90 shotgun, mainly due to the hop being non adjustable and .20's going skywards every shot!

When choosing ammo weight for anything with fixed hop i would recommend starting with .20's and working your way up the heavier bb's until you find the one that doesn't suffer from over-hop and stick with that.

ive got a 50 or so spare blaster 0.2 so ill have a play with them first. Think ill prob move up to the heavier 0.28 tbh

I got told that if its a multiply shot shotgun then a mixture of 0.2, 0.25 and 0.3g as it'll give as nice spread as is possible with airsoft shotguns, not sure if its true though

as above i use .2 and.25 never anything more as it give a nice spread, however mine is a gas shotgun so fires 5 and the weight alters the direction with the wind etc so nice spray and a little variation on range

I used an ACM M500 once at UA and I just poured whatever weights into it I had.

Considering the engagement ranges you normally expect with a shotgun, I didn't think it'd matter...

I fine Eley 36g No.4's work really well in my 12 bore.





...Oh sorry are we talking airsoft? stick with .25's unless you've got an 8mm one, then the heavier the better - at least .34g/.43g (i have found some .9g once)

I've always figured that 5.95mm bbs would work excellently in shotguns for room clearing- use them as Scatter shells

I run my Tm spas 12 on .2's but I would go for 25's as they are the lighter bbs and will go a bit further

I have a pot of mixed .2s/.25s which I use, mainly because I have no other use for mixed weight ammo.
Seems to work fine and gives me a good range and good spread.

Had about 100 or so .3 given to me so loaded them up into my de56 trishot, used it in cqb, people were asking if it had been chronoed as the extra weight made quite an impact on contact, probably a bit too heavy for indoor, using .2s now, .25s if I get them
