FPS (M/s) Limits in other countries.

I started playing in a country with a bit different FPS(M/s) limit. I haven't been there for 2 years. Well just recently I visited their forum and was a bit surprised with the changes they made. M/s Limit used to be 120 in 2008. Well have a look for yourself.

Anyone knows how it is in other parts of the world?

Minimum engagement distance for Snipers and Machine gunners is 20meters.

CQB is 120M/s strict.

Well I used to live in spain with my parents, but came back because I wanted to join the army and play more airsoft. The site I played at over there was 380fps on AEGs, I'm not kidding

In HK the upper limit is 2 joules and i have seen games in some far east sites that allow 450fps and full auto, though that was in a 'pain game' (i.e. take as many hits as you can before declaring out).

Aside from Japan and Ireland most countires have limits above the somewhat standard 350fps UK limits on full auto. We are quite weak it seems compared to others :p

I airsoft somewhere here and we are allowed 380fps fully auto guns eevn though there site says 350 but when we chronoed our guns they said it can be 380fps an it definatly was 380fps.

The Berget rules are the best I've seen so far

1...............0 to 109 m/s.........1 meters.......Semi & full auto
2...............110 to 130 m/s.........10 meters......Semi & full auto
3...............0 to 140 m/s.........15 meters......Semi only
4...............0 to 140 m/s.............15 meters......Full auto
5...............141 to 150 m/s..........20 meters......Bolt-action
6...............151 to 160 m/s..........25 meters......Bolt-action
7...............161 to 180 m/s..........30 meters......Bolt-action
8...............181 to 199 m/s..........40 meters......Bolt-action


*1) All pistols are restricted to class 1.
*2) Class 3 guns must be modified / limited to semi fire.
*3) Class 4 is for Support weapons only.

The maxiumim bullet weight for class 1 - 4 is 0,30 g
The maxiumim bullet weight for class 5 - 8 is 0,43 g

here in Northern ireland all guns are limited to 328fps no matter what.

but what if your pistol had a 12 or 14inch barrel and a stock and was semi only ?

Philipines is up to 600FPS, one of the guys I worked with had an AK firing at 580 FPS powered by a motorbike battery strapped to his waist. Plus they dont all wear full face either. Crazy stuff...

Most of the ex soviet bloc countries have very high limits, or none at all.

WTF has that got to do with the topic??? Not only have you gone off subject but insulting filipinos' aswell!

Back on the orginal topic a couple of the guys had M4's running duel batteries front and back to power them.
