anyone interested in a indoor CQB centre in Doncaster?
1 August, 2011, 19:46
Hi Everyone, trying to do a bit of field research and look at how many people would be interested in a indoor CQB centre in Doncaster area, that would be open 7 days a week with a onsite shop.
would people prefer like a indoor village or a indoor tactical maze?
any views, ideas and remarks are very welcome.
this is only research at the minute.
Cheers
J

All of the Above - would love more local opportunity to run and gun in CQB!

basically for me the key would be just enough pathways and routes so that too avoid stackups and stalemates but not so many that you constantly get lost, rooms that are easy and hard to storm, pitch black areas, and somehow encorperating longer distance guns aswell (so maybe like the CQB in the centre of a load of more openly spaced villages would be neat
)
money wise for me it would come down to how exclusive and basically how good the site is for example the mall is expensive yet is so well run and is great fun i am happy to pay the high price

Re: anyone interested in a indoor CQB centre in Doncaster??
What would I pay?
Would be highly dependent on the quality of the set-up, quality of the site's marshals, games offered etc etc but as every skirmish sites I've played at has charged £25 per game regardless of quality, I wouldn't want to pay much more than that.
And besides, if the quality set-up is there I doubt you'd lack for players attending.
As for being open 7 days.....other than the shop side of things, I wouldn't imagine that'd be cost effective as mot people work during the day, although mid week short skirmishes (7pm til 10pm maybe?) and night games could be a money spinner.
