Farm food shops sell them to scare off crows.

You're only supposed to use 9mm blanks though, 12 gauge is friggin' loud.

There are very few sites that allow 12guage due to the horrendous noise they make, the ones that do allow them tend to specify hearing protection is required. Check with your site first to see if you are allowed them, if you go ahead and use them against the rules you will find yourself doing the walk of shame to the carpark for unsafe play.
