VSR-10 question
3 August, 2011, 22:53
Does anyone know what real world rifle the VSR-10 is based upon? Im looking to source a real wood stock for it and it would be handy to know what its closest to. Im prepared to do some woodworking after i get the stock though.

Re: VSR-10 question
Based loosely off of the Remington model 700
Lady Astor (first woman MP in the House of Commons): "Mr Churchill, if you were my husband, I'd put poison in your tea."
Winston (getting unsteadily to his feet): "Madam, if I were your husband ... I'd drink it."

Re: VSR-10 question
The vsr 10 is not based on a real gun, I dont know what it's based on really, part of it is similar to the m24 and remington 700. A couple of people have made handmade stocks for their vsr

Re: VSR-10 question
Ive found an American company online who make gorgous custom stocks for pretty much any rifle going that i plan to buy a blank from and then open up the mag well and bits to make it fit my VSR. Im looking about $140 for the stock but it would give me a totaly unique rifle.

Re: VSR-10 question
I googled it and found wood stocks made for the VSR, though at the somewhat unpleasant price point of $222...
