specter DR 4x sight

Right well im after one anyways, but im trawling around and i cant find one for less than £150,,, which leads me to my question are they worth it? are they really that good?

in comparison to acog 4x whats better ?

I tried one on a friends rifle, didn't like it at all. Seems really daft in Airsoft for me. The reticule covers the entire trajectory of a bb!

I've got one for DMR usage on my SR16... absolutely love it! Excellent peice of kit, I dont have the problem Boo-Sabum Ben is talking about. The optic is really clear and eye relief is amazing, I cant fault it at all!

Paid just under £100 for it about a year ago if I remember rightly! Bought it 2nd hand mind you from a seller on here! I seem to remember there was one one here a month or two back! Guess you've just got to get lucky!

As far as i can see they are just new on the market so to speak.
Wait till every china copy house puts them on the net and then see the price drop like a stone

You can grab an ACOG complete with Docter, all mounts, killflash, batteries....etc....etc for under £100, but look how many there are out there

I own one too which cost about £90 second hand. I find the eye relief far exceeds that of most acogs ive used and must admit its an excellent bit of kit

I have been trying to find one of the 1-4x versions for ages with no luck. They do look like good bits of kit. Does any have any experience with the variable magnification ones??

don't buy the x4 fixed zoom.
it has same internal as ACOG. just a different shell.

AABB make x1-x4. hard to find, worth to wait

The problem I meant was that the reticule travels from the bottom to the top, obscuring your view, and potentially not seeing where your shots are going

Oh! Didn't realise they were different in that regard. I just thought it was a model/external change. Fail.

Yeah the new reticle is very similar to the ACOG BDC reticle

wth is that, because the internal recticle isnt like any other specter DR scope hmmm :S
