Susat vs acog

Got a dilemma. Really fancy a susat for my l85 but will the 4x magnification make it difficult playing urban? Or should I just get a cheap acog if I mainly play inside.

Not to sure what to do:/

Not much use for 4x magnification in CQB. Better off with iron sights or like you say a red dot ACOG. Better with a reflex sight though. Just my humble opinion.

Yea, I don't need/want 4x magnification. But will having it make the susat almost impossible to use indoors?

why not change back to the iron sights when you want to use it indoors?

Or...just don't look down the sight at close range. How do you think the Army cope

(p.s) Unless I'm mistaken, the SUSAT has mini iron sights on top.

Depends how big the rooms are I suppose. It will definately slow your reaction times down. You would end up looking over your sight most of the time, saving the sight for long distances.

correct that man above, they do indeed have iron sights on top. I would ask how often you use sights anyway. I would always go for the scope I wanted the most and then either remove or use the iron sight function in CQB

I have the ACOG with Docter mounted on it, last time i used it in CQB i only ever used the Docter, and not even that indoors, i find indoors i generaly just fire from the hip so to speak

The iron sight on the susat is pointless. Its a very last resort. Takes longer to get a good sight picture than the actual sight, even at close range!

I'd consider something else for CQB.

Why not an Eotech for FIBUA and an Acog or Susat for everywhere else?

1x- 4x SpectreDR. Perfect! sure they're very expensive but they look so puuuuuurddy. plus you can always drop a Doctor sight on top if needed.

Might as well get an acog with a mini doctor sight on it so you can use it for longer ranges and cqb, the army are being issued acogs aswell right?, so your not damaging its credibility :P

Ive seen one of those x3 magnification sights which flip to the side behind a eotech red dot.
