12g blanks for bfg

whats the law on buying 12g blanks for a bfg?i used to be able to get them last year but i cant seem to find anywhere that stocks them now only the 9mm ones.i know most sites wont allow them but id still like some all the same.i know theres shotgun shops but would they sell them over the counter without a shotgun licence? or would my ukara licence be enough proof that im using them for a hobby.

Best bet is probably shooting shops - apart from anything else they normally give you much better deals than online retailers.
As far as I'm aware you don't need to produce your licence for blanks like you do for live rounds. If I were you I'd take it with me just in case - my father and I always carry ours when we're doing anything shooting related.

You only need to be over 18 to purchase blank ammunition, nothing more.

yep as mentioned loads just over the counter at any standard gun shop, they are bloomin expensive though! some place are selling them for almost a quid each!
