And will you please, for the sake of my sanity, check it see if you really mean "brake"?

"Brake" is to do with stopping. "Break" is when something is damaged.

e.g. on the Shimming one, you say " **ESSENTIAL** Don’t do this and your gun WILL brake"
Meaning if you don't do this, your gun will stop. While it may actually stop, the correct word there would be "break".
It's not just that one either. There are more.
