How long is too long?

Short version, I ordered Airsoft parts from A N Other retailer (note ordered not pre-ordered) and its now day 42 with no postage details and paypal times out at 45 days. Apparently posted last Monday but no tracking number or further conact from retailer.

What do you guys think? Let it go to day 45 or act now?

make a paypal dispute now before its too late, at least then you got some cover after the 45 days

I would've dispute after 10 days max. 45 days is a joke!

If it's a hong kong retailer, 10 days is to short by a long way, although 42 days is way to long. A UK retailer that's taking the p155.

It's a US retailer. So I'd expect somewhere between UK and HK. If I'd have known I'd have gone HK would probably be sorted by now. Annoyed that my PDW has been broken so long.

Definitely get some PayPal action on that. I'd have took action around the 17days mark as two and a half weeks is enough time.

Let PayPal don their ass kicking boots a fine leather jacket and some shades so they can resolve it.

if you dont mind us asking, what is it that you bought?

If it looks anything like a firearm, it could be being stopped by customs?

though you would assume that you would have had contact by now :/

Done and refunded. That was quick but fat lot of good it does me for this weekends trip

Was just parts so customs probably wouldn't have blinked. Refund came with a shiney new excuse which means the previous mail about when it would ship was a lie.

Very disappointed. But at least the matter was resolved quickly.

Apparently a lost shipment to a retailer so orders out to individuals were put on hold.

I dare not ask myself why I was attracted to this thread... but if I were you I would find a phone number for them, because all the time you email them it can slip their mind.

Also ask for compensation on the postage, or your money back it usually gets their arses in gear.

having said that the last time I asked for my postage returned to me because it took them too long it was because the guy on the 'bay' was hit by a car ... kinda felt a bit guilty starting a whole paypal complaint LOL!
