        For the record that huge tongue of flame, the change in noise, all of it, is not the intention of this product in the real steel world.

        It is purely designed to help short barrelled AR15s cycle properly.

        The flame is going to be a combination of soot deposits burning off, the lack of a traditional flash supressor, and the fact that military 5.56 ammo is designed to burn off down a 20" barrel, not a 10" barrel so there is lots of excess gas escaping.
