    Re: Badge Design Help

    My feedback would be the following;

    The text should follow the curve of the scroll/banner down the bottom
    There really need to be an outer "edging" so to speak.
    It's really too dark. So much black on grey on black. I'd suggest a lighter colour background, such as grey, OD or Tan. If you were feeling funky, you could even try a navy blue or another colour not normally associated with "tactical"

    I'd try; Thick gold borders on an OD background myself. I don't have photoshop installed at the mo, but have a look at the US Army logo for what I mean.

        or a rifle with a scythe end, (Google sons of anarchy)

        I feel that it needs something on the left side as it has a large open space of nothingness, A moon maybe or something equally Deathy.

        Looks good so far though

            Re: Badge Design Help

            You could download GIMP, as it's free and you can do good design work. All of my signatures etc are done in it and I think it's a pretty good program.

              Re: Badge Design Help

              Paint.NET is also a good choice. Also free. I find it a little easier to work with than GIMP, though you can apparently do more with the latter if you know what you're doing.
              My good man, why do you bandy words like this? You are wasting time...Words are potent in debate, deeds in war decide your fate. Then don't go on piling up the words, but fight!

                    Re: Badge Design Help

                    The green is too dark to see the rest of the design clearly enough. The banner is far too long.

                      Re: Badge Design Help

                      If you are going to have team patches made then the design shouldn't be too fussy or it will not be able to be embroidered. Keep it simple and probably round or a simple shield shape

                      Hows about these, something traditional and something a bit more 'Street' :D

                              You may want to reconsider the name, i'm sure theres a team in or around Grimsby called The Reapers. been around for several years.
