National Events, weekenders
26 August, 2011, 08:21
Hiya guys. Very sadly I'm getting married on Sunday (but am happy about it really lol) and this means I'm not going to be able to go to this big national event. In adition to this, the Saturday is my sons first birthday. Now this means that if the event is every year on Aug bank hol weekend I'll never be able to go!
So what other events are there for this year and is there anything in the pipes for next year? Is there an index somewhere I can see stuff like this?
Thanks in advance you helpful chappies! (and chappettes)

Yeah, GZ is just one of many weekender games that go on every year... From what I can gather though, GZ is popular because it's not too "in your face" mil-sim and it's as much a social event as anything.
That said, most of the weekenders I've been to haven't been OTT at all.

Will be keeping a keen eye out for them.
There was one based in a lab (or something) round this area - was an all nighter and a bloke chased you around with a running chainsaw .... as you do. Got to find out what and when that is.

Are we allowed to link to different upcoming weekender websites? I never hear about these untill it's too damn late.

How so V.A.K?
I'm part of the tier one team and we base our weekenders on our experiences based from real operational experience in which we can offer one of the most realistic games players can get them selves on.
