Question regarding gas mags.
26 August, 2011, 09:35
First of all, I apologise if this is in the wrong section. I thought about posting this in the "Technical Help" section, but decided that the question at hand wasn't massively technical.
Anyway, on to the question:
As I'm aware, if you store gas magazines without any gas in them, the O rings will dry up, causing a leak. If this is the case, then why don't the O rings dry up during the journey from the factory to the shop, or during their time being stored in a shop's warehouse?

Re: Question regarding gas mags.
because they are greased, keeps them supple, when you start using gas in them, the grease comes off, gas has lube in it, keeps them...lubed, no gas, they go dry
