  • Posting rif's.

So there I was just about to order parcel force to collect a rif to deliver given that the Post Office have put their prices up to £26 AND recently lost a parcel. Just befor I ordered I thought I should do something I don't do very often and read their rules...lol.

    Guess what I found:

All firearms including: imitations and antiques; paint-ball or toy guns; taser guns; air rifles and all other items similar to, or resembling the foregoing are prohibited. All ammunition (including components thereof) and airgun pellets are also prohibited.

So that scuppered that then. Suggestions anyone?

I have a couple to send out and don't wish to see £52 dissapear.

Use 'em like most of us do. They're happy to take your money - just don't tell them what it is.

Just about every UK based airsoft retailer uses Parcelforce or RM

And a lot from overseas fall into the hands of Parcelforce.

I think the advice is use them at your own risk, if it goes walkies im sure you would be up the creek without a paddle.

      Alternativley choose another online courier.

Yeh, just use them mate. I think the last gun I posted was using Royal Fail!

Use Parcel Monkey to get a quote then check the corrosponding Terms and Conditions. Alternatively send using who'm ever you get it cheapest with then don't tell them if it breaches T&C. If it gets lost I'm sure something of the same value could be thought of to replace said items.

            Hope that helps Midas.

                Fedex are fine.
If it asks for the contents of the parcel just put "toy" short and sweet and not entirely untrue.

I personally highly regard Fed-ex, never had any problems and everything I have ever ordered from Z1 has been Fed-ex'd to me next day!
