Where can I get impact proof lenses?
30 August, 2011, 23:05
ok, basically I am looking for somewhere I can get impact proof lenses to go in things like gas masks, funky welding goggles etc.
Because mesh goggles and standard safety specs look W**k tbh. boring and common as muck.
If I could get hold of a sheet of the stuff that I could cut (some how? :S ) to size it would open up a world of possibilities.
Where can you get the stuff?

Re: Where can I get impact proof lenses?
you can ask heroshark where he gets his stuff from, if of course he is willing to share the supplier of his main income.
I am sure there are quite a few companies who can make custom glass or metal sheets to your specifications. Just mention the ANSI rating requirements. Not sure how much is gonna cost you though.
+ I'd triple tested any project that may threaten your health. So, make sure anything you do is Proper and the materials are of a good quality (ANSI rated). So, If you order a metal mesh make sure holes are small enough and won't break on BB's impact.
