its a tm one 500mah 7.2 and a trickle charger

Rate as low as possible.

My charger goes as low as 50 mah (i think) so for the above battery how long if it was on that setting?

So I take it it's better for the battery to slow charge?

As most people do iI threw away the china~crap chargers and upgraded to a quality afytermarket unit which charges all my batteries.
Surely if you can set it that low then it must have an indicator light otherwise I wouldn't be suprised @ 8+ hours.
