Need dimensions of a large type battery please :)

fellas
im in the process of carving a wooden stock for my Thompson, and need to create a hollow for the battery. Im wanting to stick a large type in, and therefore need some measurements.
I need the width, height and depth please, preferably in mm
thankyou.

Length - 15.6cm
Width - 4.7cm
Depth - 2.3cm
Done just roughly with a tape measure.

sorry, forgot to specify. Planning on a 9.6v, i think its 3300 MaH
and thankyou intervention! Can anybody just confirm this with a 9.6v?

He asked for sizes in mm, its 156x47x23 mm.

The Vapextech 9.6v batteries are quoted at:
Size : 180mm x 48mm x 25mm
So depending how tight you are for room, you might need to measure your own one specifically, as looks like there may be slight variation in size between companies! It's only half cm from the one Rampage has got, but that might be the difference between fitting and not!

cheers fellas, after spending about 2 hours carving out a hole today, the battery fits, and the stock's finished. Feels great, and looks great - much better to hold and look at than those chinese wood kits. Once again, thanks.
