With my glock I used wet and dry sand paper(its very fine)
Then I polished it and it looks very chrome like.

If its anything like their USP's underneath is not chrome... its a cheapo alloy that turns grey when exposed to the air. Paint stripper may get the black off but go carefull so you dont stain the metal underneath. You can polish the metal but dont use anything too coarse of you will never get the scratches out. Also the metal is so soft you can easily rub the detail/shape out with too much sanding.
The only way to keep the polished finish bright is to use a metal sealer but this won't be very hard wearing and will eventually come off.

Really I have only had to polish my KWA glock once and its stayed shiny for 4 games .
I can still see my own reflection in it .

Yeah perhaps , it feels like aluminum mainly due to the weight .

Re: taking paint of topslide kwa 1911
Yeah sure .
Well the guy I got the gun from took a dremel to it to get the two tone off then painted it black .
There was so many deep scratches took me about 2 hours to sand smoof .
But I imagine it would take an hour to do .
I used a very sharp Stanley knife to take the paint off in the corners.
If you do plan to play games with you be prepared to give it a 5 minute rub with a bit of kitchen role to make it all nice again .
It SHOULD be stored with kitchen role around the slide to prevent scratches I have already gave it a nasty scratch down the side but keeping it on my bed side table.
I think my glock looks really nice considering the state it was in before I did the work , the slide was a complete wreck looked like somebody took the paint off with a screw driver.
Cant seem to upload the pictures something about DST correction

Take all the plastic components off then hit it with some paint and varnish remover, it just bubbles off. Wipe clean and rinse with water, then you can buff it up. That's what I did anyway!
