4 September, 2011, 12:23
Was just curious if anyone has done this?
Seen many M4's with full length stocks but never a full length current service M16 with an M4 sliding stock...
Random I know but ALWAYS been a curiosity of mine :/ some may shoot me alone for asking this lol!
If anyone has pics please show :D
Thank you

If it wasnt that rather rancid shade of olive, that C7 would be pretty nice...

Re: M16A2/3 with M4 sliding stock
There was talk of the US military swapping the solid for collapsible stocks some time ago, I think it was the Marines, accompanied by the usual spiel that they're sticking with the M16 barrel length for higher muzzle velocity.

Re: M16A2/3 with M4 sliding stock
The US Marines were going to use the A2 with collapsible stock but they decided against it as you can't carry a casualty sat on the weapon- you can on the solid stock. I'm sure I remember other reasons but that was the deciding factor.
I think they're quite cool, especially the C7A2 above.
