RIS and Weaver? Same or different?

RIS and Weaver? Same or different?

Hi Guys
Would a red dot with a weaver mount like this one:
http://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/pro...rod=reddot30mm
fit a standard G&G GR15 or M4 RIS rail?

Forget about the name, as long as it's 20mm it's fine. The one you have linked to is a 9-11mm one - so it wont fit as that's what's standard on Air Rifles. Often though, the term weaver is for the 9-11mm rails.

Picatinny is usually 20mm and compatible too ;-)
