Experience With Clone SERPA's?
13 September, 2009, 21:32
I'm looking to get a SERPA for my Glock 23. Used Blackhawk before, and was very impressed. To save some money was thinking of getting a HK equivalent from a very well known HK source!
Anybody have any feedback on them?

Re: Experience With Clone SERPA's?
i've got one for my 1911, and bar it being fractionally bigger than it should, its a pretty solid piece of kit.

Re: Experience With Clone SERPA's?
I could be greatly mistaken, but aren't Glock 19s and and 17s effectively the same size (except in calibre)
G&G TR15 Raider XL, CA G36K, G&G MP5A4, Cyma Thompson, APS AKS-74U, Custom TM Uzi, DE M56, WE Nighthawk X2, Cyma Glock 18C
RD Customs MG42, The Bone Cannon And Project Balderdash.
If you aren't laughing, you're doing it wrong.

The 23 certainly fits in the 19, they are the same frame!
So if Barny is right... the 23 will go into the same one :D

Glock 19 has a shorter barrel, same caliber as the 17. In theory if its for the 17 then a 19 should fit.

I don't think you'll regret it. My one is a really good piece of kit

Re: Experience With Clone SERPA's?
My only complaint about mine is the leg drop clips that connect to the belt fittings squeaks a lot, but i sprayed with silicon oil and it stopped.
They are solidly constructed, and all blackhawk accesories are compatable.

Mines going on my chest with the help of molle attachment platform, so hopefully no movement or squeak!

Re: Experience With Clone SERPA's?
not a patch on the BH one. Plastics thinner, and their not as snug a fit. The pistol wobbles about in them. Well the 1911 one anyway.

Re: Experience With Clone SERPA's?
My vest is the condor one... famously badly spaced and uneven molles! Look's like I'm going to have fun!
Can anybody tell me how many rows of loops the platform takes up?
