Bad Deal

Hi everyone one just a warning a user bought some knee pads from me paid via paupal but has now done a charge back and paypal has taken the money back out of my account, even worse i was saving for a nice cot.
He still has the knee pads. What can i do apart from going to his address.

take him to a small claims court for the value of the pads and the court fee's

Contact paypal with proof of postage. phone them

Contact Paypal and inform them of what has gone on, did you advertise the knee pads on a forum? do you still have email correspondence between you & this guy? did you record the package with RM?
Contact Citizen's Advice Bureau, they should be able to help you out.

You did send it recorded? If you didn't there's not much you can do, there are some people out there who will get the items then claim the cash back... I learnt this the hard way!

Similarly there is another user that took £195 off of me then vanished. Needless to say I have put up a claim.

I'd start with a letter to the parents. Then maybe a spot ukara check on that property, then the admins here. All good citizen stuff.
