Can anyone identify this rifle
8 September, 2011, 21:35
Hi
I saw this and think its either a RIS variant of a SLR or FN FAL. Can anyone confirm or deny
It seems like such a terrible shame that innocent civilians have to get hurt in wars, otherwise combat would be such a wonderfully healthy way to rid the human race of unneeded trash.

Isn't the FNC a 5.56mm? The rifle in the picture is definitely a 7.62mm weapon judging by the magazine. It's hard to judge without seeing the fire selector but I'd be willing to bet it's a FAL and the fact it's 2 miles shorter than an SLR

Possibly an SA-58 with a retrofitted RIS kit?
Agree with Patrolpointman though, it's 7.62.

Awfully nice gun though...

Fallen Skies on Fx. It's man's last hope against alien invasion senario. My SLR with bayonet fitted was 5 feet so I hear what your saying Ppman.
So next question are there Fnc or Sa58's in the airsoft variety?

Well I never really know what to say on these forums and the link explains it a lot more dramatically than I could and it is muzzle licking good!:D
Sorry BAMF I cocked the link up the first time.

Not a problem. It's been the best 6 minutes and 3 seconds i've spent today.
Thanks very much for that, greatly appreciated.
