Re: Hicaps. How do they actually work?
coil spring in the bottom builds up tension and the teeth on the main gear grab the bbs and force them up the feed tube, as a round is fired spring tension is released enough to allow anouther bb into the feed tube
trading WE M16A1 for CYMA or RS SVD with PSOP

Re: Hicaps. How do they actually work?
remember the pull back and go toys,
basically the high caps does that with bb's
pressure tensed spring winds up as we wind the mag, the spiked main grab gear leads bb's around the track into the feed channel, the large spring winds the bb's around when firing taking new stock from the 300 other rounds waiting in the mag

Yea but DONT attempt to tension/wind the cog wheel when its in pieces to see how the tensioning works.
I thought it would be a good to see how the tensioning works after fixing one of my hicaps which resulted in 2 meters of steel spaghetti in my face
fixable ? yes but it looks like its going to be a 2 man job
