lol i think people are forgetting who this dude is, he isnt some guy who picked up a sword and said shoot at me, he is Japanese, that means he is going to be awesome, he probably has been cuttin up bb's before there were bb's lol he is hitting a 6mm ball with a sword that is probably 4/5 mm thick, its like shooting a bb in mid air with a bb, and he doesnt wait for it to be shot with his sword already out (LOL), he has to whip it out (LOL) and hit it first time (LOL). Even if you clamp the gun down your bb's arent going to go in the exact same spot.

This is pretty amazing, but not as 'superhuman' as it's made out to be. With practice, it becomes much more possible and believable than this video makes it out to be.

As some of us have said, during skirmishes we've messed around and tried catching bbs, some of us successfully. You can often see bbs coming at you quite clearly, which is why some players use black ones. If this guy has good eyes and has practiced this before (which I think he has, a LOT), then he can see it coming.

Beyond that, it's like the doctor lady says. It's not really about seeing the bb. Him and his suavely dressed companion have probably practiced this over and over, and he's simply learned to judge the time of the shot. His buddy aims at a certain spot, and being a master samurai, the swordsman ensures he swipes his blade out at a corresponding spot every time, and on time. We don't see how many times he tries this before he actually gets it. He has possibly mastered this skill so that one out of every 10 or 15 shots he can make it. Then the video just shows us the successful one. See how eager he was to watch the video once it was done? He was like 'Finally!'

Seems amazing, and it is. But with continued practice and repetition, these feats of accuracy become very possible. Observe.

If you read the detail at the top right, it says how many times these folks did these things before getting them right. The bb slice probably just took a few months of practice, then about 10 tries on the day of the video.

Some of those things were truly impressive !! She was so happy on the last one when she finally did it she could hardly believe it. Then I got sidetracked onto a new discovery of mine....cosplay girls....and then everything went hazy after that.... :D

ha, yeah some of those tricks are very clever. that book throwing one took a few hundred attempts though, so i believe that slicing a bb head-on is a similar concept. over time, your body begins to repeat it's movements and muscle memory takes over. it's how martial artists and other olympians train their bodies to do things with such precision.
