Hybrid HPA AEG

Just thought would post a few youtube links to a project I am currently working on. The project is to build a reliable HPA/electric mechbox (yes like the Polarstar fusion but better!). Due to lack of funds I am building it into an old TM G3. The mechbox has several modes built in single fire at 500 fps, auto, at 350 fps and burst at 350 fps. The FPS is changes when you switch mode, with the single shot eventually being limited to 1 shot per 4seconds to simulate a bolt action (not sure if sites will allow this). Test so far look good with it working at 32 rps auto and 40rps in burst mode. Just got get an HPA tank and regulator now before i can take it out!

Would like to know what others think of this?

hpa has been around for sometime it's only recently that it became a big thing again since polarstar started doing them again the only downside to this is you need to carry around a tank of compressed air

Note you can switch between burst and full auto by holding the trigger down in semi!

Question is how much would people pay for a well made upgrade kit? I had £150 in mind if I went ahead and started making these, that would be a drop in unit that replaces all the internals and motor from your current gearbox. But that price would not include the air rig!

150 sounds fair to me, is it all concealed apart from the rig?

Yes all in the geabox apart from the small battery (5v) The unit can be hooked up to PC/laptop to adjust FPS and ROF etc. will run from 1 to 40rps depending on magazine and burst can be set from 2-10 rounds.

lol the i've seen these go for a fortune the only one i know that's available atm is the polarstar hpa fusion system and thats a few hundred dollars then you've got to fit it by the air tank and regulator, the only person i know that uses these is the user happyal, he'd be the best person to advise on these matters.
$425 plus shipping just for the gearbox
$165 for th air rig
$20 for the lipo
so that's without a body a $600 dollar gun plus taxes and shipping one your looking at about a grand for one

Well if you can produce these you maybe into the money, one that could run off co2 bulbs would be awesome in a full stock gun!

you can't get them to work they need the air tank and a regulator as far as im aware you've also got to be careful you don't pull out the wire

It would work off one of the larger capsules by you would only get a 200 or so shots ok for a sniper I guess. But will have to try if on my sr25
