G&P M16AA3 from Zero One Questions..

Hi, not sure if this is the right place.. but I suppose it is general discussion..

I have a couple of questions about the G&P M16A3 on Zero One
I've emailed yesterday but from previous experience, I'm used to not getting replies, so I'll see if anyone here knows..

What size Tamiya connectors does it have?
What FPS does it shoot (with .20g BBs) with;
- Factory Standard spring & bushings?
- M90 Spring and bushings?
- M100 Spring and bushings?

Most likely Tamiya large. The recommend battery on there is a 7.2v.... which is WRONG. You want a 8.4v or 9.6v Nihm (if not, a small lipo battery would do nicely )

Will likely come in 360 - 370 FPS mark standard, and will have bearings.

M90.... should give roughly 320 - 330 area.
M100... should give roughly 330 - 350 area.

the answer to this thread from this thread probably would be phone zeroin... but if there selling over the internet you would think you would get a bit more in depth info, the m90 spring refers to whether you want one fitted, g&p guns can come hot my stoner 63 came in at 400, until the retailer downgraded it for free, in my opinion they shouldn't charge you for the spring change, since selling anything over 370 fps is a section 5 firearm, the bushing is what supports the gear axles in the gear box, why they're advertising this when it would be easier to remove a coil from the spring i don't know, g&p doesn't come with tamiya's wel mine didn't the ones i've bought lately have been coming with micro deans fitted.
so in theory it should fire 350 fps but it probably won't.

Thought it would be large, which is good as I have a few large Tamiya 8.4v lying around here somewhere..

My local site's limit is 345 FPS, and £35 for a spring change is pretty expensive..

I'll get from local shop, won't have to pay shipping, they tend to reply to emails more and will be within their site limits.

I have this gun but from a different site. It came shooting low at 317fps, I have a m100 spring in it and it boosted it to 328. Getting a tb barrel which should put me about 335

I'd have been tempted to send it back to the 'different site' (or at least speak to them) because for me, that has a problem (air leak most likely) somewhere...

The difference between 317fps and even 335fps is nothing. There is a problem on the internet that people think power means range, when the power level are this close it doesn't. A good hopup makes much more difference, you would of been better off spending your money upgrading your hopup unit.

Okay thanks a lot guys, soon to be ordering from a different site along with a TBB and Madbull blue rubber.. they'll lower the FPS if needed to 345 and install the barrel & hop for £10
