How to arrange the extras on my new toy?
1 November, 2011, 15:47
Cant make up my mind what to put where on my nice new toy.
So thought id get some opinions from you guys.
Mike your opinion doesent count mate as i know what way your swinging...lol
No comments on my choice of L85 variant please, i play (when i can) almost exclusivley CQB so being an L85 nut this realy is the best choice for me.
Susat, foregip and side mounted LLM01
Acog, foregrip and side mounted LLM01
Or
Acog and LLM01 in the lower position.
Answers on a postcard please.

Middle one for comfort and versatility. With the bottom one I don't think it'd be comfortable to hold onto the light unit (can't remember its name, doh). Top one....I just plain don't like susats.

Middle one but swap the long foregrip for a stubby or folding one.

2nd one but lose the acog and put the doctor on that rail. Much more cqb friendly!

First one, just as it is. L85's look wrong with ACOG's.

It is Ares mate.
It is very light, i compare that to both my WE and ICS versions.
You will probably have to do some digging to find one though, they are as rare as hens teeth.

2nd one but since you play CQB I don't think an ACOG is all that practical, even with the doctor sight
