    It was the dogs danglies when it came out - loads of people bought into it.

    Then as with most things, the airsoft community is very fickle and soon became bored, this turned to dislike and it is currently "cool" to dislike magpul stuff.
    Newer players see that people don't like it and follow suit.


    At the end of the day people should use what they want/ like/ need.
