Hey guys n gals, thinking of getting one of these and wanted to know if anyone's used one or has any experience with one?

Star's support weapons are appaling, most of the problems an AEG can develop, the M249/Mk46 by star will. Even the rarest of failures, like the trigger snapping off seem to occur in this series.

For a functioning and accurate looking Mk46 you have to go G&P, but thats big money, so the alternative is the A&K Mk46 which is "almost" there (gasblock & bipod mount are wrong).

I looked into buying one last year. Even the retailer i was looking to buy from said dont bother...

The box mags are utter gash, always break. And the gearboxes melt.

Id advise against it. Regarding the G&P, better have a strong back. Heavy feckers.

I went through 5 triggers before the gearbox melted so wise move on staying away
