Chrono help

Guys ...

i have a Guarder Speeder 2000 gen 2 chrono the 2009 model

now ive seen on a very well know GBB custom parts youtube channel, that they have been able to use a lipo to power the chrono....

ive taken the chrono apart, i found the internal battery pack to be glued down and just connect by circiut board connector.

Now, do you think i can use the same connection wire that fits into the circuit board on a 7.4 lipo and run it externally to a deans for when im doing weekenders etc

Or has anyone else done so to there chrono
