Lipos handle a lot more charge rate than nimh. You can gun them quite hard the whole benifit of moving to this tech is that you can fast charge them with no ill effect.

Nimh is different you need to follow gaffa rules on those quite strictly and with all batterys the smaller they are the slower you have to charge them.

Ive seen so many dead nimh mini's due to fast charging. I actually have to keep 100 cells in stock of 2/3af all the time as people duff them so much by 3a or more charging small nimh packs..
