The most effective M203 shell?
10 January, 2012, 17:08
A question to all experienced airsofters, which M203 shells do you find most effective?
I personally don't have any experience with M203 shells but common sense says that if a shell is filled with 200 BB's the range is surely going to be less than a shell filled with a hundred BB's, but then the spread is greatly reduced.
So what's the best all round shell in terms of range, power and spread?
Or is it best to have different shells for different situations?
Any info would be much appreciated.

The Madbull/S-thunder plug design shells are by far my favourite. So much easier and damn reliable.

Re: The most effective M203 shell?
For me, it depends, i love the madbull stingers as they tend to have enough range and spread for most applications
However, fully charged 204 king shells really do go bang, however, i wont use them up close as they really do travel as a number of people at my local have discovered to much amusement

yeah my madbull grenade is very good, also mosquito molds 168 grenade that came with my mini launcher is really good too....
when it comes to grenades use good strong gas...and mix up the weights of bbs....you know .12 and.20's for a nice spread

S-Thunder ones are good. requires a cocktail of bbs and water for best results. This just gives it a better airseal. Plus they're not expensive.
Also if you're worried about losing the red end caps... Scotch tape works :-)
