Mich helmet help and advice
13 January, 2012, 11:37
Hello guys gals and small people
I'm looking at the 2000-2005 mich helms and want to know a few bits about them before I blow a bit of my money
1) Are they comfortable to wear
2) Do they move alot when you run
3) Do they have sizes or one size fits all
4) would you advise getting one and if so what make
5) could I just get a cheap 2nd hand one and add rails and what not to it
6) What is the best Coms head set to get with it??
7) what things can you put on the rails?
You help will help me decide do I get one or do I just stay with my MTP cap
Many thanks patch x

Re: Mich helmet help and advice
1: that's subjective, I get on with mine but not everyone will.
2: not if you fit it properly
3: real ones have sizes, repros tend to be more one size tries to fit most
4: I have a BULLE one and I am pleased with it for the price
5: you could, you can buy the rails separately
6: I have a set of fake sordins that fit under mine fine
7: all sorts, mainly they are used for head cams and lights

Re: Mich helmet help and advice
1) Real ones - very much so.
2) If the straps are pulled snug - not at all.
3) As above, real ones s,m,l.
4) Yes, although just moved to an FAST and I quite like it. I think mine is IBH (Mitch)
5) Yes, You can, well known auction site perhaps as well as mil surplus places and of course on here.
6) Pretty much anything will fit under, thats the idea!
7) Lights, cameras action...Oooops, strobes, ir lights for the night vision that really must go on. Even if its only the mounting arm.
Problems? Problems? There is no problem I cannot solve with this...

Re: Mich helmet help and advice
1) Are they comfortable to wear --- Yep, get padding which you can move about to make it comfy/ fit your head
2) Do they move alot when you run -- as stated in 1, you use the padding and straps to make sure it doesn't
3) Do they have sizes or one size fits all -- as stated use the padding and straps
4) would you advise getting one and if so what make -- i got mine from here :-
http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/uspmh1nx.html
although i have a real one which i got from ebay.. can't really tell diference apart from weight. so its up to you.
5) could I just get a cheap 2nd hand one and add rails and what not to it :- if you wanted to
6) What is the best Coms head set to get with it?? -- i have MSA sordins ( real) and they work like a dream don't go cheap IMO
7) what things can you put on the rails? -- torch/laser/ head-set anything you want really.
