      Re: Leagues

The game at GZ Woodland is an all day game with scenarios going off at various points throughout the day at different locations around the site. This means you can stay in the battle all day if you wish, or take a break at any point and re-join when ready.

The gameplay is usually divided into two teams (sometimes with a S.O.G. team thrown in too). Players choose which side they want to play at the start of the day. Many players and teams will only play on one side - Black Knights and Dartmoor Rangers only play Bravo, and D.C.L.U. and M.I.A. only play Delta - but they're free to choose.

I'll let someone else explain GZ Urban as I've only ever played there once and I wouldn't do it justice.

Neither site runs a league as far as I know.

If you need any more info on GZ Woodland, feel free to PM me, and I'm sure other regular players would be happy to explain further too.

        Re: Leagues

GM has pretty much summed up how GZ works. It differs to many other sites because the game lasts all day, where as quite a few sites run smaller games with short breaks in between. Don't know of any leagues, I guess it's because of the organisation needed and the regular availability of players. I do liek the fact you can just turn up at most sites and simply play (although some sites do need you to book before hand)

          Re: Leagues

ok thanks. i thought maybe the best players at a site would represent the site or club in a regional or national clb competition but it appears that this isn't the case then?

            Re: Leagues

At TWA there is a formation of a site team, some of us regulars (dare I say half decent players!)

Will be touring round some other sites hopefully playings some other teams in competitions.

              Re: Leagues

ok thanks jagillham, that's just what i imagined leagues to be like. just seems that not many sites have their own 'home' team to go and play against others. perhaps when airsoft expands a bit more and it becomes easier (ie less distance between sites) to travel between sites. do they sell tea at TWA?
