Re: Best Budget "GAS" sniper rifle
I dont think budget is the way foward with gas snipers. If you want to save money get a descent second hand one, altho as you know they are pretty rare on the forums.

HFC-USR11 IF you can find one. I had one and it was great. Using abbey Predator ultra gas on a cold day in scotland i was getting 436fps with .2g bb's. Apart from the fact it's a gas bolt everything else was a clone of the TM VSR so hops and barrels etc were all interchangable.

I thought they had these on WGC and everyone slated them as being awfull guns? not sure if it was a spring or gas version tho. Altho I must admit I have never tried / seen one in the flesh

Re: Best Budget "GAS" sniper rifle
Cheers guys for responses
I think what i will do is keep my springer and upgrade it to a good level then just save up over time and buy a beasty Ares AW338, and head on over to the rock at that time.
If i brought the Ares AW338 can it use heavies straight away like .36+.
And yes my dream sniper was a Cheytac m200 but ive gone back to thinking british lol.

Re: Best Budget "GAS" sniper rifle
I used to use .36's in my maruzen l96 that was pushing 450 fps and it worked fine. I think .36's would be fine in anything over 350fps tbh
