Battleaxe TM Recoil mags.
15 February, 2012, 12:37
I know a few people were interested in the Battleaxe M4 Recoil mags that became available.
I've not put this in "reviews" as such, because it's not really a review, more filling in the blanks, but I've just got two through the post. I c
an confirm they ARE exact clones of the TM ones, including the 30rnd switch.
The moulding seems a little rougher, the plastic slightly more rubbery and the spring seems not to be coated, so is a little sticky. The casing is metal, but seems to be the same as a Hi-cap one, with the slot in the bottom instead of a removable baseplate.
Other than this, they seem fine, a bit tight in my gun, but not excessively so. I could think of far worse ways to spend less than £10.
Of course, in accordance with forum rules, I won't be telling you where they are from, I just wanted to fill in the blanks for those that wondered, so please don't ask.

I really wish I hadn't shelled out £100+ for the TM ones now, as I'm sure the battle axe ones feed very well
