Do airsoft Grenades hurt?

depends on what you've been hit with...if its a madbull stinger then yes it hurts especially at the back of the legs from 5 meters.

Also it depends on the capacity of the grenade.

What kind of grenades are you talking about? If you mean the handheld thrown ones then no not really, if it goes off you'll be concentrating more on the bang then things hitting you, you won't really feel it. If you're talking about moscarts (grenade launcher grenades) then yes, they hurt. A lot.

If you happen to catch a BFG loaded with a 12-gauge shell down your assault vest, and it goes off, then you might find it can sting a little

Erm Thunderflashes do hurt if you are close enough to one. We used them in the Army for basic training purposes albeit the MK9's but any pyrotechnic at close range can hurt. I was in the Killhouse at xsite on a night game last week and as I came out of a room a BFG came in and hit me on the chest it exploded and I felt like I had been punched in the stomach. So yes, depending on the proximity you are from whatever device is being used you will get hurt to varying degrees.

also watch out for people throwing them through windows, one was inches from hitting my head!.. & then went off. (it was a dynatec)

Had one go off in my front pocket. Was only able to take it out cos I had gloves on. Thankfully no burns but smelled of soot the whole day and really got big fright!

Saw a guy blow a thunderflash up in his hands. Wrecked new gloves and a 2 black arms. No lasting damage.... but expect needed new undies!

depends...
ball nades. just a bang and a shower of dried beas, or powder not powerful enough to hurt.
mk3 & 5 thunderflash. no physical pain just a bang and a flash
mk 9 thunderflash. temporary affect on sight and hearing due to being bright and loud
smokes. only if u have asthma
thermo. no physical pain
moscart nades. depends on shell, gas and distance
bfg. up to 9mm u just get a bang nothing drastic. 12g will screw ur hearing up quite a bit tho.
bfg's physicaly hitting u can be quite painful as they r heavy solid things.

tornado nades. sput bb's out and can hurt if close enough.


theres a few other rarely used kinds of nades but il not go into em.

Normal stike and through nades dont hurt unless you hold on to one.

Thunderflashes can give you a headache in confined spaces and hurt your ears. Especially a recent batch my local has in. There thunderflashes on speed. They made me feel sick when I had three thrown in my general direction while defending a corridor. (They counted as kills that day.)

BFG's aren't bad, unless you happen to have one land infront of your face which was loaded with a CS cap. Thats wasnt nice.

Moscarts well I managed to load a 48rd one up and then procceded to let it off in my face. Mmmmm nice.

Smoke grenades dont hurt unless like a recent batch they start setting them selves on fire. Then they hurt.
