i'd get the claymore because i wouldn't need to upgrade it and it can be used on a wire aswell as the remote. e.g: tiring wire to the claymore and a flag (in a flag base game).

I'd get the SVD but then I do a fair few Russian loadouts. Having team mates with claymores and seeing how ineffective they can be, the SVD would get most use.

Great idea in theory, rubbish in reality. Believe me! :D

You have to find a place where the enemy will come, set it up (takes a minute usually), then get within line of site, but yet not being shot. Then wait for the enemy to come near, fire the thing, then somehow get it back!

Everybody I know (myself included) that had a claymore - sold it back on later!
