well Hi,

im looking to start airsofting next year, and this place looks friendly and the write place to ask some questions.

about me, well im 16 so i know i will have to receive a gun as a gift. im a mil-sim gamer and in the air cadets . looking round on here and youtube and airsofting looks ausome. :eek:

i play paintball quite a bit, but looking at this, it looks cr*p already lol.

i did go on some random forum to find out about the laws and stuff, and i was told that i must commit suicide off a bridge and die...

so hi, any advice to a beginner?

Hi there mate, read up on the threads in these locations:

Once you've done that, your pretty much set for the forum, and laws regarding buying RIF/IFs.
Have a look in the Pictures of your Gear and Pictures of your Guns threads for some inspiration on what gun to get, or what kit to get.
You'll find a very friendly atmosphere round here, so I'm sure you'll have a good time talking to like minded people!
