hello
10 January, 2010, 19:40
Hello everybody I swapped from paintball a few months back and airsoft is a million times better. My armoury keeps growing:D, but I can’t decide on my load out, I’m leaning towards the private contractor or UKSF look. I want to get involved with a team and I suppose this is the right place to look. I’m not a complete newbie, so if anyone out there wants a new team mate let me know. I get down to GZ about once a month as the wife works most weekends so I have to look after the kids.
I need to get a pistol and I’m thinking of getting a sniper rifle but not to sure what is the best to get, any advice would be greatly received.

Re: hello
Welcome.
You will soon find out that sniping is a bit of a pain, given that sites have differing rules on the power output regardless of spring or electric single shots. Two sites around me have a strict policy on output regardless of weapon type, so really you have no advantage over an AEG.
Your honest best bet is to trick out an AEG unless you want the authenticity of carying around a true to life looking sniping weapon.

Re: hello
Don't get a sniper rifle, they're boring as... however, if you really want one, get a JG Bar-10. And hi :D I swapped from pb to airsoft, but I'm swapping back in summer
I go airsoft winter, paintball summer, etc :D

Re: hello
If you're going to get a SIG then it has to be 'TM' IMO.
I have one and never had a problem with it.

Re: hello
I have the KJ works sig, its metal not ABS like the TM and imo its superb, its pretty heavy and fires about 310 fps, and they can be picked up for a reasonable amount second hand, that said, if you do buy a TM one, you know its going to be excellent, hope this helps
