Morning all!

Been coming on and off the forum for a few months now and finally decided to make an account and get stuck in. Already had a great deal of help concerning my new loadout (which I will come to further down) to which I am most grateful and has resulted in an impulse buy (total bargain it was too!) which is means 60% of my loadout is now complete!

Name is Ash, I've been playing a year after leaving the army at various sites doing the usual skirmishing to full on milsim and giving milsim training to people who want it. Personally I prefer an open skirmish in which people still use patrol tactics and contact drills but without the full on milsim attitude of ultra realism. But that's just my personal taste and what I love about airsoft is there's something for everyone. Then went on to work for an airsoft retailer specialising in bespoke imports as well as starting out in the tech side of things. (As opposed to my last job where I spent more time breaking guns than fixing them!) I'm always up for a giggle both on and off the field and can be counted on to pull out all the stops when someone mentions fancy dress games! Other strange habits include gangnaming towards enemy locations, axe/sword fights midgame and brewing up in a fire fight.

Loadout wise I started with my old kit which was DPMs, PLCE and Mk6/bushhat/beret. Dessie loadout which sometimes make an appearance: DDPM plus customised Ops Vest and of course my 'Expendables' loadout consisting of all black with the black beret. However often I just play in DPM trews and a tshirt with the PLCE/Lightweight ALICE rig regardless of the weather.

I'm starting on a Stargate SG1 loadout (in US woodland) and am part of a team dedicated to the 'expendable' SG5 offworld team who seem to always snuff it all the time. Currently I've all the BDUs, patches etc so now I'm working on the MP5 which I recently picked up and is awaiting the mount and scope before getting one of The Vest Guy's SG1 vests. It's all coming together quite nicely and am looking forward to showing it off once it's complete along with the rest of the team
