Hertfordshire , New guy
17 June, 2015, 17:00
Thought I'd post up here as I've been looking round the forum for a while now,
Name is Milton from Hertfordshire, letchworth .
Me and a few friends started up airsoft before Xmas and had a couple of games and will be going on our 3rd game at awa herts and we will get our UKARA license.
I have had some experience in army cadets so familiar with the kit, tactics etc.
Also heavily into my cars and drifting, its my main hobby along side this.
I purchased a G&G CM16 Raider in black with maroon/red stock, mag and front hand rail.
Recently just purchased a new sight, front grip and silencer(for looks) , will get them fitted when they arrive.

Yes, but there's no such thing as a UKARA licence
Out of interest, any reason you didn't wait until you were registered and just buy a RIF?
As for sites, Bluestreak is about 40ish miles from Stevenage, just the other side of Aylesbury. It's an old RAF base so although there's a bit of woodland, it's mostly buildings. Definitely worth a visit, even just for the lunch!

Urm too eager to start and money to burn. I don't mind painting it myself, painted small items on the car so this shouldn't be too different.
Not heard of that sight but will look it up now !

Fair enough, was just curious. You can always do some custom paint job on it...
It may well not be your CQB local but I know it well and isn't too far away. There maybe something closer, someone more local can probably suggest different sites, as it's always good to try different places

Exactly, I looked up the site and its an 1hr 30 mins from us but that's within range.
Not been in the air soft scene so looking around for sites, think I'd prefer urban combat.

http://www.airsoftmap.net/
is a good website to find sites.
Also if you go through Stevenage, play a game called 'spot the drug dealer' good way to pass the time.

Re: Hertfordshire , New guy
If you're willing to travel that far then there's Red1 at the Langelbury School just outside Watford/Kings Langley, just by the M25 junction, XSite Outpost near Dunstable/Berkhamstead/Hemel and just the other side of the Dartford Tunnel/QE Bridge Red1 have a woodlands site near Chislehurst. One of the guys I regularly play with now lives in Letchworth and comes down from there, another is from Royston.
BTW if you're looking for a FD3 for drifting I have one set up for grip (I used to track day)
