Hello from sunny (ahem) South Wales...
3 November, 2010, 00:17
Hello all.
Just registered after being pointed in this direction by rik, who I know from another forum. I've not done any Airsoft as yet but I've been nosing about at some kit, reading up on Wikipedia and watching some videos on YouTube and it certainly looks like damn good fun!
I shall pop along to an event soon at what I believe to be my local club near Newport,
http://www.dragonvalley.co.uk
(I'm open to alternatives should anyone local to me know of any), and have a go and see if I enjoy it. I suspect I shall. :D

Cool stuff. It certainly looks a decent site from what I've seen of the pictures. I won't make their event this weekend as I'm busy, but I'll try to make the next one.
Are there any other sites about?

I do indeed know Mikey, and I haven't pointed a gun at him yet.

The other sites in Wales are Pathfinders in Neath and Taskforce paintball in Bridgend

Ahh, I had wondered if Taskforce did Airsoft as well. Are they any good/busy compared to DV? Same question about Pathfinders also, they're both a lot more local to me.

I've been to Cardiff for a Play-Off final and it was sunny!! I've also been to Swansea to pick up some wheels and it was pee-ing down and blowing a hurricane!!

D.V is brilliant for the occasional game. I used to like going all the time, but the novelty has worn off. They are now experimenting with different game scenarios though. And i have yet to go to take part in one. On the D.V forums everyone is saying the new scenario's are very good. Would definately be worth going to see if you like it or not.

Thanks for the info. I might register on their own forums and find out what's going on.

Everytime I've been to Llandow it's been sunny. You must bring the miserable with you.
We do have some epic driving roads though if you can avoid collecting the odd sheep or suicyclist along the way.
