Hello Zero.
24 July, 2009, 00:20
Hello all.
Just thought i'd introduce myself to you all.
My name is Dave Mills, Currently residing in Andover, Hampshire.
I've just come across from the airsoft community forum, mainly due to the moderaters being very power trippy and any general opinion being batted back with a gig worth of abuse.
Im 22 years old and have been playing airsoft for about 6 and a half years now.
My occupation is an armourer in the army, so any random SA80 questions or Brit Kit load out questions just PM me, and i'll be more than happy to help.
Hope to get to know you all through the forums.
Sorry for keeping you all night reading this.
WF24D, Recce Armr1.

Re: Hello Zero.
Hi, mate.
Welcome to the forum, I think you'll be very popular here
And mini, I don't think it is. As far as i'm aware it's a job you either apply for, or you'r chosen for.
But wait and see what Millsey says

Re: Hello Zero.
Thanks for the warm welcome!
Mini I joined the REME and chose to be an armourer.
As far as im aware there isnt a course or anything for it in civvy street as there isnt much call for armourers.
And Chronicle, glad i brightened your day a little, I take it youv experiance the airsoft community forums

It has its moments. The whole weapons side of things turned very boring after playing about for about 20 minutes. (ive been doing it for 6 years now)
Its extreemly repetative. Imagine inspecting (like an MOT for rifles) each indiviual part of the rifle 800 odd times ounce a year. The rest of the year you go on the ranges everynow and again to sit (usualy in the rain) waiting for something to break, or go on operations and join the infantry at the pooey end in case something breaks.
