  • Hi all, new player from New forest

Hi all, long time toe dipper now taking the plunge. My little bro, ianshep, has convinced me to give it a go. Ok so after a brief explination over a pint, I was hooked, cue much forum surfing, shop checking and constant harrasment of various people, I have finally got a weekend pass to some play at Sopley and Verwood. So if you see a very unfit lost looking bloke runnning...nope make that staggering... round GZ in the next few weeks, say hi.

Anyway, I'm mid 30's, ok 37, married, 2 kids, and ex RAF (you know.... crab f*rt),

will be there Sunday come rain or shine!

now how the heck do I fit this webbing stuff again.......

Hi mate, don't let age and general fitness stop you.
I'm 41, and started airsofting after a stroke, so if i can do it, you can.
I can now charge around with the best of them.
    Good hunting.

If I run more then twenty feet I have to sit down for twenty minute's. Actually now I feel unwell.

thanks guys, and there was me thinking that a load of sport billies with razor like reflexes and perma tans would be making me look rather daft. Still got me kit packed, forms signed and raring to go come Sunday. Don't care if its supposed to rain, still going!

Just got to remember how to shoot straight'ish, been a while since used a SLR or a SA80.

            41 must be the new 30, I'm 41 too.

Don't worry about shooting straight too much, just do what I did and get a 5 shot shotgun!

Well played first game down at Sopley camp. Got there in the driving rain, played the morning in the wet, played the afternoon in the dry. Had an absolute blast. All up for verwood this weekend. Knees shot to heck at the moment, but sure they will be alright by sunday. Learnt a lot, met a bunch of nice blokes and kids, had fun, thanks guys one and all.
